In this recession…in desperation AT&T utilized deceptive methods to gain upgrades.
Deception by this trusted corporation left…loyal…customer outraged
Poor finds it difficult to escape the gutter… corporation’s business practices cause them to suffer.
AT&T tactics to get upgrades…are worse than gunmen carrying out raids.
2009 long line with AT&T…DSL with Earthlink…received an obnoxious bill from AT&T, contacted a sales representative…who recommended I should take AT&T services in a bungle…cost much less than using two different corporation that provides same services
Needing wireless fidelity connection for my Laptop offer was accepted…received a DSL modem from AT&T...wireless service was fine…second to none…courtesy of Dell Broadband wireless card equipped in my equipment.
Had no idea AT&T modem was not a wireless fidelity modem…it needs more requirements.
Reached another state…unable to connect to the internet…by cell or laptop… was told by AT&T representative wireless service was restricted to my house…beyond the walls…was a different call…almost had a fall.
Stranded in Louisiana without internet services…laptop…cell…following instructions from an AT&T representative…travelled 56 miles…to an AT&T outlet to replace cell phone chip.
No use…phone worthless…had to upgrade to a new phone…choice a Blackberry…not to become hip…to communicate at a decent pace in this information age.
Combined billings…wireless billings…proved account zero…transaction went without a hitch…only to be deprived services of the internet …chip was not the problem…AT&T at my location in Louisiana had no wireless access.
I was a mess…I must confess…I was been put to the test…I remember to keep calm under undue stress.
Seven days passed before service was received.
Frequent enquiries on my account during probation of Blackberry…30 days… had account at zero balance…only to be deceived.
Two days after probation receiving a text message…contacted AT&T regarding my account…I almost went through the roof…account has ascended from $zero to $900 in thirty days.
Concentrating in a haze…asked for proof…now I had owed a balance of $600 that was carried forward to add to my upgraded balance…strange not notified until Blackberry’s probation had expired.
Deprived of service…failing to pay $24…still cannot convince these loyal AT&T Representatives…it was impossible to get an upgrade owing $600.
Talking to customers’ representative they have taken me for a liar.
AT&T do not upgrade if bill exceed $ zero balance….no upgrade in a different State…if customer fails to provide proper identification…including your long line phone number… address.
Who monitors corporations to keep them honest…to who do you report for regress…how many more loyal…trusting…innocent…poor…have been deceived by such practices…when will it end?
