I was in fear of losing my life when my white roommate William Bill Miller told me on two occasions, “You are just a fucking nigger and I am going to kill you,”
I was assured by case Manager Natalie only difference between both places I was given my own money to spend.
After moving I realized that was not true, I was taken from a licensed Assistant Living Facility to a place licensed to accommodate an Assistant Living Program as a result of which I lost my Medicaid. Fortunately, I was getting (SSI) Supplementary Social Security Income which allowed me to keep my Medicaid.
Somebody opened a bank account in my name and started collecting my SSI income. I opened a bank account in Atlantic City called Social Security with the information to make direct deposit and was told to make the deposit in the other account. I told them I did not have another account and had to visit in person with ID to get direct deposit in my account. My SSI was changed to $00.00 cancelling my Medicaid.
$376.76 of my rent was paid by Medicaid. I continued paying my portion of the rent. I was removed from the Assistant Living Program and served eviction notice for back payment of rent.
I got a lawyer and decided I need a trial I was not going for any settlement.
Condition for trial I had to pay the back rent. I paid the rent went to court the premises’ lawyer did not turned up and the case was dismissed. I informed the premises’ owner on arrival from court of case dismissal she said the case should not be dismissed they were giving us time to reach a settlement she would refile. She refiled was seeking a settlement I refused the settlement demanded a trial. Twice after refiling they did not come to court. The case finally dismissed.
